Tempe
Tempe is located in Arizona's Valley of the Sun that includes the cities of Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa and Glendale. Residents enjoy approximately 300 days of sunshine year round. Torrance
Torrance is centrally located in the southwest corner of Los Angeles County in an area known as the South Bay and is half way between Los Angeles and Orange County.
Torrance's mild year round climate helps its residents enjoy the many local attractions, including beautiful Torrance Beach, Madrona Marsh – a freshwater nature preserve, the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, the Joslyn Fine Arts Gallery, The Torrance Historical Society Museum, and the South Bay Center of the Arts. Torrance schools are noted for their academic excellence and students routinely score significantly above the national median in tests. The school district is included on the annual list of California Exemplary Schools.
