Four-color, 360-degree spot printing is also an option to further differentiate your brand.
THE METACORK STORY
MetaCork™ was invented by listening to consumers. One night Dr. Bill Gardner, a mathematical engineering professor from U.C. Davis, was hosting a dinner party at his home in Yountville, California. When he brought out a bottle of wine to the cork broke and his engineering colleagues gave him a hard time about the cork particles in the wine. Hed a second bottle flawlessly to a round of applause, but the third bottle again gave him problems. This time the bottle was sealed by a particularly stubborn synthetic cork and he broke his best corkscrew. Now, without a corkscrew and becoming frustrated, with all his might he pushed the cork into the bottle and he ended up splashing red wine all over his shirt. After plenty of laughs and jokes, his buddies urged him on to invent a better system forng wine.
The next morning Bill went into his workshop and began thinking. He wondered how many other wine drinkers were inconvenienced whenng wine. As he began to talk to other consumers he found that most of them were worried about:

- Not being able to uncork a bottle without help from someone else
- Broken corks, shredded corks, and cork particles in the wine
- Corkscrew problems or corkscrews that they did not know how to use
- Unfinished wine not lasting long enough with just a cork for resealing
- Wine leaking from an unfinished bottle in the refrigerator
- Drips and messes that occur when pouring wine
